There has been on verse that got me through yesterday. I had cheer tryouts and Jeremiah 29:11 was in my mind the whole time.
After cheer tryouts, I decided that I wanted to go see my Grandfather. If you didn't know, Granddaddy has dementia and is very sick. Over the Christmas break, he went to the hospital for about 2 weeks because he wasn't breathing easily. They announced then that he has full blown lung cancer. He was living on one lung. We were told that granddaddy only had about 6 weeks to live. It has been 4 months. He has fought so much more than we thought!
Granddaddy has been at a rehab facility in Prattville for a while. About two weeks ago, we moved him into an assisted living home. Well, he hasn't been eating. Wednesday night, Granddaddy went back to the hospital because he couldn't breathe easily again. He wasn't doing well.
I have talked to Brandon about all of this and he told me that if I wanted to go see Granddaddy, then I needed to go because we never know when it will be too late. I took his advice and I went yesterday after cheer. I am glad I went to see him yesterday. He was not doing good at all. He wasn't responsive. I could talk to him, he could hear me, but he couldn't say or do anything in response. Granddaddy was not doing well and it was time to go. I could tell.
Last night I got home and checked my computer. I didn't make cheer. I was okay with it. Brandon told me that I was on the only cheer team that counts: his. I was okay. I got done with all of my homework and went to bed.
This morning my mom came into my room and curled up with me. She woke me up about 6:15 and told me the news. My grandfather didn't make it through the night. Mom said that she left for the hospital at 3:30 and he was gone before she could get there.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
This is the verse that got me through the day. I didn't make cheer because God has better plans for me. Granddaddy is now in a better place. He is living it up with Jesus. He finally gets to ses his wife again after 15 years. God has a plan for everything.

My Weekend(:
Saturday was the Great Day of Service for many churches in Montgomery. Frazer's youth group split up into two groups to go to the Adullam House in Wetumpka, and Village Green which is right behind Frazer. I was in the group that went to the Adullam House. At the Adullam House, we split again. Three girls, Caroline, Winn, and Kaylee, went into the house and did chores in there. The rest of the group went out into the woods to cut down trees. Brandon had the weed eater. Bailey Shipp and I worked at a team to cut down 15 trees. We were too weak to do them by ourselves. We did a GREAT job on the trees.
After cutting down trees, and walking through the woods WITH the trees, I ran into a stump. Now, when I was getting ready that morning, I was thinking I would be working in the house because that is where I have been the past 3 times I went to the Adullam House. I was wearing flip flops. So I ran into he stump. My toe started swelling, but it looked like it was gonna be just jammed.(:
After the Adullam House, Brandon and I both needed showers and the plan was that he was going to come to my house RIGHT after Adullam. Well, that didn't happen. We took him home to shower, and waited on him. When he got back in the car, we went to Subway to eat and then went home.
Once I got home, we looked at my toe again. It was swollen and red. Still just jammed.
Well, by the end of the night, it looked pretty bad. It was blue and green and purple. YAY.
I went to church Sunday morning. Mason said that he wanted to go with me. So Mason and I went to Frazer. When we first walked in, I saw Matty's mom. She is a nurse. Mrs. Danielle looked at my toe and told me that I needed to go have it checked out. She told me that my toe WAS broken, but she was scared that something else around my toe was broken. She told me that I need to go to her office today and get it checked out.
But, I'm not going. I am just going to tough it out. I have cheer tryouts for LAMP this week and I'm just going to push through it. If it is still bad on Friday, I am going somewhere. So this was my weekend.

At Church Sunday, we were standing in front of the stage and Caroline turns around and looks towards the door. She saw a guy who was tall and in a pink shirt/ Caroline starts like purring. I asked her what she was doing and she told me, :The guy in the pink shirt is SOO cute!" I started laughing and told her, "That's Justin... Sofi's boyfriend." Her eyes got SO wide! I could tell that she was embarrassed so I wanted to make her feel more awkward. I told her that Justin was one of my good friends. Her eyes got bigger and she was quiet until we got into our class.
We sat down in our class and Sofi came and sat by us. I started laughing. Then, Justin walked in and was going to go sit with Taylor VanGilder, but he turned around to sit with Sofi. Sofi told Justin, "You can sit with other people..." And Justin replied, "Nahh... I wanna sit with my homegirl Tiff!!" I thought I was going to DIE laughing!!! I looked at Caroline and her eyes were as wide as I have EVER seen!

Character Party
Every year, Frazer's Youth Worship Arts puts on a dinner theater. I am pretty sure those tickets are sold out, but I know that the tickets for the Character Party are still available!! The Character Party is on Saturday in the Fellowship Hall in Frazer. Tickets are $10. It is from 1pm - 3pm . At the Character Party, there will be all of the Disney Princesses and some other very famous Characters. The kids will have a chance to decorate a frame and have their picture taken with a character. They will also get to interact with all of the Characters. There will be a Disney Sing Along as well. This even is for all ages, but I would recommend it for the littler children. If you would like a ticket, contact me by the end of the day and I can have you one on Thursday. I will need the money by Friday.
Ashton Dubois will be Ariel with Fins.
Sofi Gelebert will be Ariel in a Dress.
Oh Lord... Brandon Mapp will be Buzz Light Year.
I wanted to be Ariel and I was told that I would be.
When Mrs.Debbie said that Sofi and Ashton were the only Ariels,
I was heart broken. She got to the Toy Story cast, and assigned me

Spring Break
So, Spring Break was last week!! I'm just gonna do a run through of what happened!
March 23: We had a half day! YAY!! After that, Anna, Haley, Adriana, Bethany, the Gentry Family and I went and had a birthday lunch at Street Cafe! After that, I went home for the day.
March 24: I went to Prattville to visit my Grandfather. I went home and decided I was going to layout and try to get a little bit of a tan. While laying out, my mom heard something moving behind her and decided to get up and look around. There was a loose board at my house and there was something between the house and the board. It appeared to be a snake. So I got up and looked over there. It was NOT a snake. It was a lizard. So we decided to be adventurous and kick the board. The lizards tail snapped off. That is when we decided to go inside. I began packing for my beach trip with Toni!(:
March 25: I went to church and went home with Toni. Yes. My mother let me ride with Toni for the first time EVER! And you know what happened?! WE RAN OUT OF GAS! -_- We were about 3 or 4 minutes away from her house so her step dad brought us some gas and we made it home. Then is when we left for Orange Beach!!(: The ride there was long, and interesting. But what I will never forget about that car ride : My first fight with Brandon. He was mad that I left for SB. He eventually realized that I would be back and be with him. He said that he was sorry and that he was sad and that he missed me.
March 26: First day on the beach! We were out in the sun all day! About half way through the day, we went to visit Olivia Wilson. She was staying about 2 miles away from us. When we got there, we went back out onto the beach. On the beach, we saw the Trinity Varsity Baseball Team. -_- That was the most awkward thing in my life. Once we got back to our hotel, we both fell asleep and slept through dinner.
March 27: The DAY portion of the day was eventless. The NIGHT, was different. Toni and I were walking on the beach were we saw two guys. They said hey like nice men do and kept going. We all turned around at some point and passed again. This point, they said hey again. They sat down in the sand and so did we, but not beside each other. There was a lot of space between us. They got up and walked past us yet again and started whistling at us. So we got up and went and sat down on of the lay out chair thingys. They sat down two away from us. Then, they started throwing things at us. This is when this FINALLY got annoying. We got up and left.
March 28: I woke up to the sweetest phone call from Brandon. After that, we went out on the beach and laid out again. While we were laying out, I got asked to Prom. Jonathan Broadway texted me and asked me to his prom. RIGHT when this happened, I told Brandon. I knew that I wouldn't be able to go to Prom because other the day it was on. I felt bad that I had to turn one of my best friends no. Brandon was not happy about it and it brought up another dance I went to with Jonathan. I went to one of his dances back in August and I guess I never told Brandon about it. I thought I had, but I didn't. He got mad, yet again, that I went to a dance with another guy while we were dating and didn't tell him. I can see why he got mad. So I didn't blame him. He finally forgave me and let it go after I explained that I went because at the time, Jonathan was the closest friend I had. He had a date and she bailed on him the day before. I was the only person nice enough to go with him. So this week will be remember for the first TWO fights with Brandon.
March 29: I woke up to so many phone calls and text telling me happy birthday! While I was asleep, Drew went out and bought me cupcakes. Toni and I ate our breakfast and then had cupcakes. We cleaned up the condo and left about noon. I had the chance to talk to Brandon the WHOLE way home. Once we got back to Montgomery, I went to my dad's office. From there, we went to pick up my cookie cake. We went and ate at Ranchito. It was a great birthday!
March 30: I WENT AND TOOK MY PERMIT TEST!!!(: I took the test AND PASSED and turned everything in EXCEPT my school form. -_- I got that signed and filled out today so I am going after school to turn it in and get my PERMIT!!(: After that, Brandon came to pick me up about 12ish. I opened the door and he had flowers and a birthday bag. He gave me Flowers and a Devotion Book for my birthday!(: We went back to his house and watch a little bit of Courageous. We went to his grandmothers to check on the dog. After this, he took me to see The Hunger Games. The movie was SO good. We went and ate a Jim n Nicks after the movie.
March 31: I went shopping with my mom for three dresses(: They are all so CUTE! I went to Brandon's and finished Courageous. We finished the movie and went to a social at the church. It was with his parents Sunday School Class. We had a good time!
So Spring Break 2012 was awesome and unexpected. I'm ready for summer. (:
